hi....... actually for the roses to grow at its best level, 6 hours sunlight is must. If you want a good quality of roses, you need to arrange a place having sunlight for at least 6 hours otherwise the roses that will grow are of inferior quality.

Your morning location certainly is the prime one. However. a good general rule of thumb is that all roses require a minimum of six hours of sun. Hope this helps. Let us know how you go. Sherry
