First, very little rose experience here as this post will attest. Read about propagating roses by seeds from rose hips. From my experience with vegetables and flower gardening, hybrids do not produce true from seeds. Is it the same with the hybrid roses such as hansa? Would like to establish a long hedge row and propagation from seeds seems a lot easier and practical at this time of year than stem cuttings. Also, how does one learn that certain roses are patented and should not be propagated?
