Not sure if this goes in this section or not. I have a weeping rose standard which now has one cane which starts off normal and then flatens out to be completely flat; complete with thorns and buds which open normally. At the end of the flat cane, it spirals in on itself and again has buds and thorns. Does anyone know what this is? I have grown roses for years and have *never* come across this before, I don't know if it should be cut out or just let it go until winterizing.
Any help on this is appreciated!
