I have been trying to grow hybrid tea roses the last few years. When they do make it thru the Michigan winters, some of the roses grow with the stems coming from underground instead of off the canes. When they do that they tend to be red in color instead of the peaches and oranges that I planted. I don;t know what I am doing wrong. Any suggestions?
