I have (had) a few good climbing roses (Blaze mostly) that used to grow gangbusters. A tough winter appeared to kill most of the canes, so I pruned it way back. Now, despite being mulched well with composted cow manure, I have nothing but weak spindly stems. Can I still save these roses?
