    new blaze wont bloom

planted three blazes from dry root this spring. They are against a fence, western exposure, 4-5 hours direct light and 2 hours partial shade filtered light. Canes are robust. Petal stems spaced 1.5 inches on cane. Good lateral cane development. No blooms. I have heard a blaze climber may need a year to get established. Comment?

I heard the same thing, I just bought this blaze this year and it was bareroot and it grew flowers on it, which was my clue that it wasn't a minature as the plant was only inches tall, now it is throwing out canes.

it is a two year old plant. I heard about climbers the first year sleep, the second year creep and the thrid year leap.
