    thin canes on hybrid tea roses

    after several years of growing various hybrid teas in my central jersey yard, the shrubs are putting out week and thin canes which bend when holding full blossoms. What can i do to change this behavior

    thin, weak canes are a sign of a deficiency in the rose. I would buy a good organic rose fertilizer and apply according to the label.

    Hi-have you considered epsom salts(MgSo4) ?-gmap

    Would you think this would work if not only having the thin canes but suddenly after about 4 years of flowering I'm not getting blooms?

    You could try a little. they respond quickly. have you considered a cheap soil test?-pat
