Can anyone tell me if its possible to plant a cut rose (my husband gave me a dozen roses) and they seem to be growing right in the vase!
When most of the blooms where faded and drooping I lifted the roses from the vase to throw them out, but discovered that at least 6 of them had new shoots growing right from the nubs on the stems. I've never seen this before and don't want to just throw them out if its possible for me to keep them growing. I'm new to rose gardening this year and would love to try to get these started, but I'm not sure what the best method would be. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
