    "Sexy Rexy"

I just recently purchased a rose called, "Sexy Rexy".

It's a beautiful tiny pink bloom. It looks just like a rose my parents have had in their
yard fro years and years. I'm wondering if it could be the same rose. Do you have any history on this rose?

Thanking you in advance for any information you can give me.

    Re: "Sexy Rexy"

Sexy Rexy is a pink floribunda that was introduced in 1984. So, it is most likely not the same rose that grew in your parents garden.

    Hello Fran,

A lot depends on when that rose grew in your parents yard. Sexy Rexy was hybridized nearly 20 years ago. There are other pink floribundas which might also be candidates. Such as 'Gene Boerner'.

Sexy Rexy is a Simon McGredy rose (New Zealand). A fine Floribunda I think. Introduced in 1984.
