moving rose bushes this time of year

We will be moving in the next few weeks. I live in North Carolina and right now the weather is kinda warm. I have several rose bushes I would like to take with me. I am only moving like 3 blocks. Any suggestions on keeping them alive.

I don't live in your area... but in general water and shade if possible. Try to get as much of the roots as you can, water water water so they don't dry out and if you can manage to set up some temp shade so they don't get fried, that would be great too. You might shorten any really long canes a bit (but not drasticly) if they start to wilt at all...
That is my best advice.
