can you start.....

My question is .....can you start a climbing rose from a trimming that was cut off another bush? if so how do you do it?

Yes, you can start a climbing rose from a cutting. Just stick a 12" piece into some nice loamy soil and it should root.

It also might help it toot if you cover it with a plastic bag to retain moisture around the cutting. And soaking it in willow water or using a chemical rooting hormone (available at garden stores) helps too.

OK, so I can't spell very well, I MEANT to say it would help it ROOT if you use the willow water. Probably nothing you can do will make a rose cutting toot...
