    Planting Nasturtiums with Roses

I get alot of aphids on my Nasturtiums. If I plant them near my roses will they migrate over to infest my roses?

Unfortunately, yes they will. Aphids LOVE young tender roses. You can still plant them together though, just get yourself a box of ladybugs (available at better garden centers) and turn those babies loose around your roses. They'll eat every aphid they can find. you'll want to wait until later in the day to turn them loose, and just before opening the box, spray your plants with water. Ladybugs in a package are always very thirsty when they first get out, and getting drink and a good meal of aphids is formost in their little collective minds.
