    Rose color change

Last year, we planted a dozen pink peace rose bushes and they produced lots of pink colored roses with an occasional peach colored rose. This year they are blooming and most of the bushes have peach colored roses on them with only one bush producing pink roses. Can someone tell me why they would change colors this year? Are roses sensitive to soil pH? Could it be something we are putting on the roses or not putting on them?

    Thanks.

Quite a surprise isn't it. Well this is what I believe has happened. The rose graft with the the pink peace roses has died back over the winter, and the root stock has grown new stems with peach color roses. But quite unusual to happen to 11 of your bushes. I hope you like the new color.

hey its really amazing fact....means I have not seen anything like this before in which pink colored blooms produce peach colored roses. But its really great fact .... may be its due to the soil factors... I am not sure about it.... If you come to know, do tell me also.
