    Climer troubles

My wife and I planted a variety of climbers called Angel face three years ago.  The vines have grown just fantastic, but have yet to see a single flower.  Late last fall we did see one bud, but it never opened before the onset of winter.  Am I being inpatient or could I have some type of other problem?  I have been told to have soil tested and am in the process of doing so.  Does anyone know the proper PH for roses?  Thanks in advance for any help....

    Re: Climer troubles

Solutions to gardening problems are found by elimination. Try testing your soil. You can buy a PH tester for under $15. A soil pH of 5.5 to 7.0 is ideal for roses.
