New Austin Roses

Does anyone out there have the new Austin Roses, Teasing Georgia, Falstaff and Crocus Rose yet? I'd like to know what you think of them. They look really good in the photos I've seen.

Hi Matilda,
I have a Teasing Georgia and the thing is getting HUGE, but not much blooms. I have her in a pot staked to a trellis because of her massive size~ almost 7 feet tall. It's only bloomed twice so far and they were small and a very light lemon yellow. I'm wondering if it's getting adequate sunlight, but all the others in it's area are blooming nicely. If I had to compare Austin roses, I would prefer Graham Thomas.
(I live on the coast of Mississippi.)

Hiya Matilda!
I also have a teasing Georgia and a Falstaff, Graham THomas also. I am new to English roses and am gathering all the info I can about them. Mine are fairly new and the Teasing Georgia has had only one bloom so far but many buds are ready to open any day now. Tha Falstaff is just putting out new shoots so I have nothing to go by but the pictures I've seen. Any help would be appreaciated.

I have the David Austin's Graham Thomas (yellow). It is doing beautifully, but not enough ruffles in the center. This is my first David AUstin rose. I have sucessfully propagated roses. I own so many. So I will try to propagate a Graham Thomas to put in another area of my yard.

Hi! I have been growing Teasing Georgia for the second year now and I am very happy. The blooms are a beautiful subtle mellow beigey yellow, not as bright as Graham Thomas. The shrob is about 5 feet tall and it is very floriferous. At the end of the season it makes long 7 foot canes so I guess it could also be a short climber if it was trained that way.

I love my Teasing Georgia. It is a well rounded shrub about 5 feet tall with lovely mellow yellow beige blooms. Not as bright yellow as Graham Thomas but very healthy and floriferous.

Hi, Marshall. I am really interested in propagating my own roses and I've read a lot about how to but am still not quite sure. Is there any helpful advice you could give a first-timer? Or possibly could you explain clearly step by step how to? I would appreciate it so much. Thank you, Amy
