Roses in a maritime climate

Hello!

I recently purchased my first Rose bush a Frederic Mistral Hybrid Tea Rose. I live in the Pacific Northwest, does anyone have any suggestions on growing these in a maritime climate? It rains here about umm 80% of the time, lol. I wasn't sure if that would be a problem?

What about fertilizer, and pruning? I know that pruning takes place at different times of the year depending on your climate. Is that right?

Sorry for all the questions. Thanks for any info!

If you get a lot of rain and cloudy weather, make sure the rose bush is planted in an area that will get the most sunlight. Stay away from areas that are shaded by large trees. Shady areas in a damp climate will add to fungus problems on your bush.
