    Composting rose clippings

I understand there are problems associated with composting rose clippings. What are they? Can clippings be composted with other garden waste?

    Re: Composting rose clippings

Rose clippings must never be composted in a home type garden compost. Rose leaves carry diseases such as black spot and fungus that can transfer to othert plants and also to other roses.

It is best to put these clippings in the garbage.
