I grow eglantyne in the pacific northwest and for me it grows about 7 feet if I don't keep it well pruned. The flowers are magnificent and fragrant and there are many of them in June/July and again in September. However I do get alot of blackspot after it rains, and because I don't like to spray I just have to live with it.
