leaves yellow and falling off

I have a mini rose bush that I am keeping inside in a pot right now, and some of the leaves are turning yellow, then drying up at the tip and dying and falling off. Is it a disease or too much or too little water? How can I stop it?

Could be from too much water. Does the pot have a drainage pan. The roots could be constantly in a pool of water. Could be causing this problem.
