I have noticed that all of my roses, with the exception of my tea roses and one other antique, have come up with deep purple shoots, stems, and leaves. They are not blotched, spotted, or diseased looking, just completely purple. I was wondering if this is common, or if it means that I have a vitamin deficiency in my soil - and if so, what do I need to add to it? A couple of my roses have come up just fine, with healthy looking, green stems. So what is with the others?
