    box elder bugs

I have some bug eating the leaves on my rose, but I am not sure what is eating them. The only bug I have seen near the bushes are box elder bugs from the nearby trees. Has anyone heard of these eating rose leaves? My other idea is it could be slugs. The leaves are being eaten slowly and they are not eating the veins of the leaves. Any ideas and resolutions are welcome. Thanks.

You might have a worm that is eating holes in your leaves. Check the undersides of your leaves. Or go out with a flashlight at night and check them out then.
