This spring I bought my first roses, both climbers and I am very excited. One is doing very well. The other has barely grown and there is waxy substance all over its limbs. What is this? Should I be worried? What do I do?

don't worry! The waxy substance was put there by the rose grower to stop it from leafing out prematurely.
