New to planting roses, my husband and I bought 3 climbing rose bushes to grow and cover a split rail fence. We could not successfully get two of the rose bushes out of the plastic containers.........needless to say many of the roots were "torn" away.
All the roses on those two bushes died the next day...but the leaves, for the most part, appear to be ok (3rd day)......did we kill the rose bushes or are they strong enough to survive the loss of most of their roots. Is there anything we can do to doctor them along? I don't want to loose these beautiful bushes!
Thank you,
