I was wondering if there was such a thing as blue roses. It might seem like a stupied question. But I would really like to know..

There are a few blue roses that I know of. I have one called Blue Girl . There is a blue boy and probably 3 -4 others I know of. Though they are sort of greyish. I'm not particularily taken with mine.

At this time there is no true blue rose. Blue Girl is more of a mauve color.

Yes, it is true the chemical needed to produce that lovely blue color is not naturaly found in roses. bluegirl, sterling silver and "blues" like it...can seem almost blue in certin lighting...try a white cutflower rose and let it sit in a vase with water, sugar and food dye...works for me.
