The best site for my rose garden seems to be in the path of the wind. I live in florida so I don't get a cold wind. Will this affect my garden?

Most of our roses (about 300) are grown in an open field which can get some heavy wind when it rains or as last night 40 -50 mph winds when a front moved through. As long as there is moisture in the soil the winds will not dry out your leaves. In fact, the roses in the field are less likely to get fungus than those protected from the winds near the house.
