Hello,

My younger sister asked me to buy her purple roses for Graduation, are there any? I've seen this light purple that seem to actually be a faded pink, are there roses that are acually purple in color?

Also are there roses that are called black cherry?

Yes, but they are more like a mauve; not like the royal purple when you here the word purple.

Try asking for 'Attache' it is a smokey purple. Barbara Striesand is another close to purple rose. I am not sure that it is easily found in the florist.

Carlton roses has both the attache plants as well as the cut flowers.

Let me know what you find. 'Purple' roses are hard to grow in South Carolina.
