I have 2 Knock Out shrub roses in my zone 5a garden. Both are planted on the west side of my house so they are blocked from that nice morning sun that is so beneficial to disease prevention! Not to worry, however, as Knock Out is absolutely the heartiest, healthiest rose I've ever grown!

There's never been so much as a hint of disease on either shrub.

The blossoms, which are present all season, are gorgeous -- a vivid cherry red that almost glows. The foliage has a burgundy shade to it and compliments the flowers wonderfully.

To me, Knock Out is almost the perfect rose -- my only wish is that it had a stronger fragrance.

Love that rose!

I also have "Knock Out". It is the best rose I have ever seen! Is it available in any other colors?

Do you pinch off dead blooms, fertilize.
Generally what is the care for them?
Thanks,

I just bought two knock-out rose bushes 3 months ago. I have 200 other rose bushes; I can honestly say so far in the hot humid Texas San Antonio sun I have not had to pick one black spot leaf off Knock Out. I have not used in sprays on these two rose bushes. Absolutely the best. I am an ARS member etc... The more you ignore this rose the more it blooms. ALL my other rose bushes are more fussy. I plan on buying more of these rose bushes to give to friends to...who say they cannot grow roses.
