I have 2 Knock Out shrub roses in my zone 5a garden. Both are planted on the west side of my house so they are blocked from that nice morning sun that is so beneficial to disease prevention! Not to worry, however, as Knock Out is absolutely the heartiest, healthiest rose I've ever grown! There's never been so much as a hint of disease on either shrub. The blossoms, which are present all season, are gorgeous -- a vivid cherry red that almost glows. The foliage has a burgundy shade to it and compliments the flowers wonderfully. To me, Knock Out is almost the perfect rose -- my only wish is that it had a stronger fragrance. Love that rose!

Do you pinch off dead blooms, fertilize. Generally what is the care for them? Thanks, gears@sportomotoring.com
