I actually would like to find it and grow it because this rose was named after me. When I was younger I knew a lady who grew experimental roses and I found what she did fascinating. One day she brought me over to this real pretty rose and told me that she was getting to name this rose and she was going to call it Cynthia. I was honored and excited that something was going to be named after me. Then as time went on I forgot about it until one of our patients was an advent rose grower and I mentioned to her about what Diane had done and she brought the description of the rose named Cynthia. I was a senior in high school in 1975. Diane Paul Sheehan was the lady who developed the flower. We lived in Bayou Vista, Louisiana. Now that I am trying a hand at growing flowers. I would love to have this rose in my garden since it was named after me.

I have this rose in my garden, in memory of an aunt (Cynthia). It is gorgeous. I bought mine from Roses Unlimited, South Carolina, and it is also carried by Heirloom Roses in Oregon. I live in Michigan, and it does very well in my zone 4.
